Flowers, Pets, and Toxins!
It is springtime! Many families spend the warm days outside, planting new flowers for the season! However, some of those plants can be toxic to your pet. Common toxic plants for pets include lilies, sago palms, azaleas, pothos, and snake plants, which can cause symptoms ranging from oral irritation to kidney failure, seizures, and death. Immediate veterinary care is necessary if ingestion occurs.
